| FAQ: Long Distance Relationships |
What defines a long distance relationship (LDR)?
An LDR can be defined as a relationship where for the bulk of time the couple is separated by a considerable distance.
Of course, this is not a permanent state, and couples will work towards being permanently together as soon as their circumstances allow.
Can a LDR work?
Of course! Of course, any relationship can always need a helping hand - that's why we have this community.
So, how do you make a LDR work?
So long as you are the right people, remain loyal and faithful to each other, and spend as much time together as possible then you should have no worries.
How do you cope with being apart?
By being as close as you can humanly be, without actually being together! That means using things like...
- Webcams
- Phone calls
- Instant Messaging
- Text Messaging
- Gifts (if you can't touch them, touch something they've sent you)
... as much as you can, whenever you can.
